As a family physician with advanced training in family planning and a Masters Degree in Clinical Research, I perform research and clinical work designed to address the family planning needs of low-income, diverse populations. My research program focuses on contraceptive counseling and family planning disparities.

Rachel Logan Allen, PhD, MPH

Dr. Rachel Logan, PhD, MPH, CPH is a public health researcher focused on health equity, reproductive justice, and improving sexual and reproductive health care throughout the reproductive life course for historically marginalized communities, particularly Black women. She is interested in using structurally informed frameworks to uncover the root causes of persistent inequities in sexual and reproductive health. Dr. Logan earned her PhD in public health with a concentration in Community and Family Health from the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida.

Abbey Cliffe

Abbey works as a Project Coordinator with the Person-Centered Reproductive Health Program (PCRHP). Her work focuses on the development of interventions designed to support and educate young people in the dynamic and multi-faceted process of taking charge of their own health and healthcare. She is passionate about and committed to meaningful and mutually beneficial stakeholder partnership as a central component of research – as an organized way to keep researchers accountable to the communities with whom we seek to partner. Abbey was a Bixby Advocacy and Communications Fellow in 2020.

Lindsey Gibson, MPH

Lindsey (pronouns: she/her or they/them) is a Senior Project Manager within the Person-Centered Reproductive Health Program (PCRHP). Their work focuses on improving quality in contraceptive care, through measurement of patient experience and self-identified need for services. Lindsey has a background in public health and has worked across various reproductive justice issue areas, including: birth justice, prenatal care quality improvement, gender-based violence support programs, and self-managed abortion organizing.

Rebecca Kriz, MS, RN

Beckie (she/her) is a Project Director with 18 years of Reproductive Health research experience implementing complex research projects designed to improve the health and wellbeing of all people in need of reproductive services, particularly those who experience the greatest health disparities. She is an RN with an MS in Nursing focusing on Health Policy from UCSF. Her current projects include the implementation of the Person-Centered Contraceptive Counseling (PCCC) measure and electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs) alongside QI efforts in large Community Health Centers.
